We might all be barking up the wrong tree thinking that the problem is rom specific rather than product specific.
that is a good though, but i'll be it's sys-related. If other roms are , all of a sudden, having it too.. ya know?..roms that are also, probably, based on that defunct sys.

I also turn off the volume or set to vibrate by volume buttons when I'm in class. No ringer issue at all. What a weird bug for those that have it.

As for it being device specific, wouldn't you be able to determine that by flashing to the stock rom or any other rom and seeing if the issue persists?

I wonder how different 4.9 is going to be? I love mighty rom but I switched to a rhodium based one b/c I love the rhodium theme, its so much better in general and so much more functional (IMO). Once Mighty goes into rhodium, thats game, set and match lol. It will go from a dodge intrepid to like a dodge viper

I just got a reply from a friend that uses the diamond with the stock rom. She said that she has had ringer issues as well. She reports that they are not frequent, but that it does happen. She also uses the Pro and says that she has no issues with the ringer on that (also on stock sprint rom).
Don't know if this helps, but thought I would throw it out there.

totally agree pirish. I have missed calls on the original stock rom in the past. same thing with the phone just not ringing. Not sure why.

I think 4.8 is a great release. Rhodium when the bugs are fixed would be interesting but I'm content with a smooth stable release.

All I know for sure is that is if it is a system problem than Mike is already working on either 4.8.1 or 4.9 and that a fix is imminent. Mike has always been on top of things, and doing his best to fix any issue that happens to come along. That is the reason that I stay with the Mighty rom. Mike is a perfectionist and it shows in his work.
So to answer your question, yes, there will be a fix or update if it is a system fault.

I agree. I have had no problems at all with this ROM. I think it is super fast, stable, and for me, very reliable. I think that this Rom is just as good as 3.9 was, if not even a little better.
