Mike said it was a recommended updgrade. If everything is working to your liking, then hold off. Since he said it was recommended, I just followed his advice but it's up to you.

then again it sounds like 4.8 isn't that stable either

4.8 running great. i never had any problems w/ 4.7 once i got it running, but i always take mighty's advice, as most of us probably should =)

yes I have tweaks I'm going to change it back to default and see what happens and also does that tweak mean that data turns off after 1 minute when on internet ? and also is there a way to remove s2a ?

If you tap the clock on the home screen it brings up a menu. Tap the more button. Make sure that the box for "sound alarm even......blah, blah, blah."
This should also make the alarm sound even when phone is sleeping. It does on my phone.

4.8 has been flawless for me. YouTube, arcsoft, alarms, etc. etc. No problems what so ever. I think this is the best rom to date. 3.9 was lovely, but I think that 4.8 surpasses even that. IMO

Wow half of you guys have buggy 4.8s and half are fine. So is it stable or not compared to 4.7? If you can hard reset a couple times and test it out because if it is stable I wanna upgrade if needed.

I'm on the stable side of the fence. No problems at all.

meh, i'm in no rush to flash, I just flashed 4.7 the other day and came on here only to see 4.8 was release. As much as I love the support, setting up my phone every few days gets annoying even with a program like sbp backup.

please don't think I am unappreciative I love and appreciate all the work Mike puts into his roms.

Just like 4.7, 4.8 is running fantastic on my Diamond.
Is it a good guess that MR 5.x will be using the TF3D2 GUI?
