Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [6/16] BUILDS REFRESHED!

My data isn't working either on the new build, everything else seems flawless. I've tried deleting the data file and having it recreated, then deleting all the directories and uninstalling, then reinstalling and still no data.

Same problem here. Haven't tried an old build yet, but tried all of this with the new one to no avail. Hopefully it's something quick and easy that someone stumbles across as a fix.

Out of curiosity, does anyone have data working in the new build?

The only other problem I've really had is that for whatever reason, the cab instantly fails on the Sense build for me. Didn't try the rar yet.

So yeah, other than the data, everything is working as well as I would expect. A big thanks to everyone who has put in work on this to get it up and going.

Edit: Whoops, meant to post this in the CDMA thread.

Those are all "pointless" huh?

Way to waste thread space, thanks.
Hey Reefermattness, can you address the issue users are having with data on the most recent build?

Thanks in advance.

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [6/16] BUILDS REFRESHED!

Hey all. longtime lurker, first time poster. Saw this and thought i could help

I believe you need to set up a mock APN under connections (i believe thats what it is, i dont have my phone on me) named whatever and connecting to internet.com. Make sure you save it and that should do the trick. It worked for me on the newest build. I learned the trick when i was playing around with sense 2.1 some time ago.

Hope it helps!

Setting up an apn worked for me. To do so, goto 'Wireless & Networks' -> 'Mobile Networks' -> 'Access Point Names' -> Press the 'Android Key' -> Name="aaa", Server="internet.com". Hit back, and enable it. It seemed to fix it right away.

Thanks jtown for the tip!

Surprisingly enough, this is exactly what I needed to do to fix my data. Thanks jtown, longtime lurker =D

What is the difference between the launchpro build and the other two?
