I saw install instructions that said to reformat the sd card first.
Does that mean it's not recommended to put android on your main storage card? I want to take full advantage my dual boot program and I perfer not to have to switch cards all the time. Thanks! Last edited by pdappcgeek; 09-27-2010 at 08:37 PM. |

Just means a freshly formatted card will run smoother, it doesn't mean you cant re-add other items to your SD card after the format.

In the Kernel just before this new 26/9 release, Wifi was working except for WEP. Does the new kernel have working WEP WIFI?
FAQ says it also: It seems users that are running WEP encryption are having issues. This is a known issue and hopefully will be addressed in time Please let me know if it works with this Kernel. Bteljuice

I don't know anything about the router you're using, but usually, even if you're forced to use a particular router, you can at least change the wireless encryption used. I think most default to WEP as it's the most widely accepted encryption, and something is better than nothing. However, WPA and WPA2 have been out long enough now that anything made within the past 3-4 years should support it.
