Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [9/26] WORKING HW3D!

Are you really calling that sarcasm? Man, you kids today... really gotta work on it. Cuz that's not sarcasm, that's being a whiny little... Well you get the point. If you're right, and he was being sarcastic, I'll stop eating bacon. Which is like a hunger strike for me.

I read on another forum that the ring_delay entry needs to be changed (ro.telephony.call_ring.delay=1 to ro.telephony.call_ring.delay= "anything greater than 1000"), but adding the line in my STARTUP.TXT file didn't seem to help.
The issue has to do with the audio file's metadata and how the audio file is tagged.
There is a thread over at code.google.com that addresses it from the Vogue port days.

Issue 2 - vogue-android - Ring tones only ring once - Project Hosting on Google Code

There is a link to an Android "media" folder that has ring tones, alarms, etc. that loop correctly.
I'm sure with more research you can find out how to edit your ring tones to loop.
Good luck.

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [9/28] NEW START APP!

I apologize if this has been asked before, but is anyone having issues with incoming call volume? While in Android I receive calls and upon answering I can't hear anything from the other person but they can hear me. When I call them directly back the sound works fine both ways. I can't figure this out. Thanks for the assistance in advance.

Mic init issue, not a volume issue at all. Try updating, I think the new kernel is supposed to fix this. If not, there's a trick - I can never remember how it works exactly, but some say flipping the speakerphone on/off fixes it, others say that adjusting the volume control does.

However, I'd try to update the kernel first before doing anything else.

Yea, use ClockSync. Not sure why this happens tho, I'm guess because Android isn't getting the carrier time updates... Just a theory.

Data dropping is FIXED!

This is awesome. I haven't had to go to airplane mode or fix my APN settings yet.

The testing Battery Meter kernel is wonderful too.

Though I noticed the Selection Box that wraps the ads on apps are too small now. I rather have radio buttons that don't overlap text.

Haven't noticed it but mine syncs right away at boot.

I have Clocksync but it isn't set to auto sync the time. Not even at boot.

It's off by seconds but not minutes.

I have RHOD500, Verizon.
