Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
I have no idea why charging is working for some and not for others. When I plug my phone in, the driver window pops up asking me to install a driver for "smartphone". Doesn't matter if I leave it open or close it, the phone still charges. Going to try the newest kernel when I get back from the store. Maybe the data.img holds info that needs to be updated in order to use the charging feature? Also, I've always had the battery monitor on when I check this. I uncheck the battery monitor box in advanced task killer too. BRB

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
I was able to get mine to charge from the Home++ interface. Could somebody else try it to confirm? When I was in windows mobile battery was at 75% I fell a sleep woke up and resetted my phone to windows mobile and my phone was at 100%. My phone was hot too so I know my phone was charging. Try it out and use the home++ interface. It was also connected to my laptop if that makes a difference. Please thank me if it works for you.

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
Did you guys notice this comment next to the latest kernel?
"external.rhod_speaker=1 option <- Works, speaker pops and hisses, as expected." I tried the option noted above and heard the speaker "pops and hisses". This is just an observation, nothing more. |

Another warning/observation. Speakerphone will work with the command line and all, but trying to change ringtones or load a music file, you'll end up with com.android.media or com.android.music is not responding. Still nothing more than enabling speakerphone it seems. |
