the upgrade is coming soon, heard the 27th or something...saw it on androidforums.com or somewhere. I see nothing noticeably different between the version on the Moment and what we are running on our TP2's. Maybe an Android expert can chime in.

They're starting to build up so I figured I'd log em for future reference. Not all work with all builds, but newer builds will be able to try these out if you haven't already. Did I miss any?
Threw it in the FAQ for those that might want it, but did note that some are experimental and for testing purposes only. But ya never know, someone might want to mess with them.

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2

Read a few pages and didnt see any comments on "Add external.rhod_speaker=1" Does this mean we have external audio?

*EDIT*
From Glemsom
Quote:
external.rhod_speaker=1 option <- Works, speaker pops and hisses, as expected. (x2. You can't even hear what the speaker is playing, but the speaker is definitely putting out noise <- I am able to hear people talk when using it for speakerphone though they cannot hear me)

battery showing 100% all the time, i started at around 50% in winmo and when rebooted it was 32%

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2

Well so much for the latest alpha rootfs, zImage, modules and all startup options except speaker. No service lol.

Though booted damn quick with 3d turned on. Thanks for posting the options.

Edit: turned off proximity sensor, screen comes up portrait but goes landscape immediately. Switching back to old rootfs

Working again

Do you always delete your data.img? In recent attempts, I was finding that I had no service and could not connect to anything if I had android in an "Android" folder. Moving it back out and re-trying a fresh install, I got it back. For this reason, I'm skeptical about advertising it.

Is you OS in a folder on your sd card? If so, you'd be the perfect candidate to test the above theory. Move it out to the root and try a fresh boot. If it works correctly, let us know. If you do this, you'll lose your programs and what not, but what good is android if it won't connect? Deleting data.img means a fresh boot, but you'll have to go through setup all over again. The phone will probably reboot itself once on the first loading of haret.
