The issue is just as likely in the android source. If anyone happens to know, do link us up with an htc build tree.
Magister2k7 pointed out the one small change needed to make the screen flip correctly in this post on XDA - Developers Forum:

Basically it is just in one line in the android source (not the kernel), but the change requires you to rebuild the whole thing and replace the file in an existing system.img

which shouldn't take much time hopefully. I'm still out my ppc6800. No touchscreen, so no actual use for it ATM. I was hoping i could work some more with the Android dev, but i don't have the resources ATM. Is anyone using this on a daily basis? I couldn't because of my hardware keys.

I've tried to use it on a daily basis, but the screen rotation is kind of a big deal for me. I looked into downloading and building the android source mentioned above and at XDA, but I think it's a bit too far over my head.

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

I just thought I'd say that I tried out Android 1.5 for the Kaiser to see if maybe that would help, but it didn't. Not only was it painfully slow, but the screen rotation wasn't set up either.

Is there any way to put Android Market on the Titan build? It seems like that's the big thing missing right now, and it already has the screen rotation properly set up.

EDIT: I suppose the other option would be to see if there's a way to get the 1.5 cupcake to run faster. It has an on-screen keyboard, so the screen rotation wouldn't be *as* big of a deal.
