I spose the easiest way to figure this out is to figure out where our difference lies. Where did you get the android install from? Also, are you using funambol 0.1 or 0.1.1?

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

i have v0.1.1 installed. but i'm using the vogue version of android....not sure if that could be the difference. it has the market on it already but it has never worked for me. The market under the funambol client actually works. other than that, i'm not sure what the other differences could be.

The keyboard works fully with the version I am using
Calls and TXT work but I can't seem to get the WAP and MMS to work

Thank you
Look, I already answered your question at XDA. Go there, and read.

If I didn't state it plain enough, here it is:

Your default.txt is WRONG. Do not modify the original. I assume you have Magister's March build. Use Togga!.

I think that's the difference. Is that vogue build Android 1.1? How is speed/ram/stability compared to a Titan build?

I'll give the Vogue version a go and see if that makes a difference

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

for me the vogue version has been much more stable and actually faster than the titan build. the only thing is when you open the hardware keyboard, the screen flips upside down. But it's much more snappy than the titan build. But that is just my opinion. You may find the titan version works better for you.

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

Wow...the Vogue version has Android Market. For some reason the Titan build doesn't have it included. Anyways, the Market works totally fine for me and I can download directly from there. Also, the Content list and IM now show up in funambol. My only problem now is Android not wanting to turn back on when the screen turns off. Vogue build is definitely better.

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

MrPenguin, how fatal is the screen turning off and not comng back on?

Can you let me know if the LEDs still blink forever?

Battery life any better?

You guys have me excited with this vogue build, but I use 1.0 for hours at a time so I am hesitant to switch over.

I'll scope out the source trees and figure out how to build / compile. The keyboard issue sounds dead easy to fix, and I know a fair bit of C.
