Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

the latest funambol sync client has a version of the market that i use. it seems to work pretty well. I like it better than any of the free sites. it has a better assortment of apps. you can download the latest apk from the funambol site.

How in the hells did you install it? I've got Funambol-Client-0.5.apk in /AndroidApps and non-market apps enabled. Nothing.

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

i have 1.1 installed. you can download it here https://android-client.forge.funambol.org/ Just go to the documents and files page. you can download it under releases. then just move it to the android app folder just your other apps and you should be set. Hope that helps.

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

Thanks! It installed no problem! It was pretty awesome having droid handle the download install process. No file manager, heh.

Hey I can't find the market functionality but I guess I've gotta sign up. If this app can transport contacts from WinMo it will be well worth the hassle.

By the way, have you noticed the left-softkey back button serves up the back function for web browsing? Great speed, gotta say.

Well I downloaded it and got it running, but I'm not noticing any market application. Is there something I'm missing?

once you have funambol running, hit the menu button, it's under menu.

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

Hey Baingle

If by 'menu' you mean the white popup bar at the bottom [which, in my case is bound to the Windows key] then I am totally stumped.

Using v0.1.1 I get three options: settings, about, and close.

Again, I haven't signed up to myFunambol [user/pass] as I have no desire for ads.

?

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

I've gotta be missing something here. When I hit menu all that shows up is "Settings" "About" and "Close". If i tap settings it gives me Funambol Preferences and Application Info. That's it...
