When signing up for verizon with a pda phone, tell your buddy to get the "pay as you go" data plan which doesn't charge you monthly. Anytime he wants to connect to the internet, make sure he uses wifi. You can go to connections and remove "Verizon" from the drop-down box and choose "My ISP."

There's also an option in the kitchen to install a pr0g that will block data, a checkmark i didn't select, but at least it was an option last time i cooked.

yes, but be careful here.. when i switched to my new xv6800, i had to renew our plan, which meant the new VZW 'Nationwide' family share plan.
the regular 5 dollars per month for wireless web access went away, and now the only option is pay as you go.. (i have 3 other lines on this account, so the wife and kids use the web on their Krazrs)..
anyway, RIPOFF.. they round UP on their charges..
i used VCast SongID, on my daugters phone.. I connected to VCAST, to download the Song ID app.. then ran the song ID app, and used it to ID 1 song.
That was it.. total of about 3 minutes.
FOUR DOLLARS AND 21 CENT CHARGE on my bill.

needless to say i now have all Vcast and web crap blocked on my other 3 lines.

.....

i didn't have to renew anything...but that's because i didn't buy my 6700 at verizon...i just changed my number to a new phone. when i did that, i had to sign up for a data plan...and i chose the pay as you go. and i've never used the verizon web access...just their unlimited messaging. so far i haven't had any problems.

If it's the second one, then you might want to take a look at SIP Change, a program that automatically selects a desired SIP upon boot.

It works great for me using the HTC Intellipad SIP.
It reverts back to the default keyboard...

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

well that's not good.

Have you tried changing intervals? like from the default 10 seconds to something like 15 or 20 seconds?

If not, then SK Tools has a good SIP changer which works for me as well.

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

It's not the SIP changing that is the problem, (i.e. using the SIP tools to set the default one). The problem is that it WON'T select the PCMKeyboard at all. Last time it was due to the pagepool being too small. What's the default pagepool in 5060? Nobody else is having problems with the PCMKeyboard?
