I had this same problem too. I simply downloaded another version, specifically, the one missing the "e" at the end of it. Added the e, and it ran fine.

Thanks a lot.. Rev A is all in my city, but not in my subdivision...

GPS works both in Live Search and GMaps. Has anyone tried it in Weather Panel? I would love to see exact locations in relation to radars

And to all that care, before I downloaded this ROM, I did a full backup using Sprite. When the rom was done updating, I reimaged my phone with my Sprite backup, and everything appears to be working with no hassle from me.

Good job, cant wait until final release. =D>

I have a question... My bro is trying to install this ROM, but keeps getting the 260 connection error. He says he has a SPL-1.07.0000 bootloader. Could this be something to look into? Could the 1.07 bootloader be the source of most peeps install woes? Could this ROM only work with the 1.06? Just a quiestion to think about, since I know nearly nothing about the inner programings of these things...

I was having the same problem.. i ended up rebooting my computer, trying it a few more times and in installed part of it. If you are running vista you have to update a WMDC driver. Look in the Sticky thread about getting stuck in the bootloader and follow the instructions for the vista RUU update ability. If you are running XP, continue running the app until it works i guess.. im running vista so thats what I did.

THE FIRST LINK DIDN'T INSTALL FOR ME.
sorry for yelling buy I hope that people see it. The first file is actually a little smaller and will not install. The second linke downloads but you will have to rename to .exe insteat of .ex(this is already mentioned).

I fixed the problem that I had by disabling roam. It then connected to the proper network and started to work. I will now reinstall g maps and see.

Are most of you skipping the Extended_ROM stuff? I'm wondering if something in there needs to be run for GPS to work.

Also, what about IOTA_1128.CAB?

As near as i could tell (from following this thread all day) it seems like it's a good idea to let it install all the junk, do a hard reset, let it install all the junk, and then after that, if you want, you can hard-reset again and then skip the sprint customizations.

It's probably not necessary but that was the drift I was catching.
