I just flashed 3.16 w/no problems (knock on wood)..I have yet to thoroughly test anything. I will save that for tomorrow.

I just wanted to say thanks to KBurrito for the proper post, and everyone who took time to post helpful hints, thoughts, etc.

The selfless folks that post here make this forum the great online community and resource that it is.

I'm looking forward to the enhanced performance and new toys this ROM brings.

If there is any doubt, look at this speedtest I got about an hour ago:

Note three things:

1) increased download speed.
2) increased upload speed (evdo Rev0 maxes out at 144kbps upload)
3) decreased latency. Typical EVDO is ~200ms +. My latency has been between 97ms and 110ms all night.

I'm not sure about the calling/data at the same time, but I'm sure if it's supported, it will come with time. I just know that the speeds I'm seeing are at LEAST twice as good as I'm used to seeing while tethered.

I couldnt be happier.

Still can't get my GPS to work. Google Maps says Seeking GPS satellites (0) constantly, and if I go into ##debug# and go to GPS, everything says N/A. Also took my phone for a drive to 7-11 for some munchies, and no luck.

Any ideas?

Ok, I may be stupid, but for some reason my Compy won't recognize my phone. I have tried plugging it in to both of my XP computers and they don't make the sound that it recognizes my phone. the power light on the phone goes on so I know the USB cable isn't bad, but it isn't connecting. Am I doing something simple wrong

after unsuccessfully trying 20 times and having it hang on the multicolored screen, reflashing 2.17, and trying again, more hangs, reset computer, more hangs, it FINALLY started flashing. Now i hope it doesnt freeze. Great it stopped at 11%, updated the bootloader, and broke the update utility.

I am not able to talk on the phone and use the web either. I have noticed a HUGE increase in battery drainage also. Could be the fact that I've been playin with the phone since I installed the ROM, but not sure. How does the GPS know to turn off, or does it? I have noticed with ~5 hours of playing...opening and closing Live Search and Google Maps about a dozen times, that I was down to ~17.5MB RAM...i was using nothing else but settings - memory trying to manually close things.

That was what happened to mine. you're not screwed. Just run the titan_exitbl, and run the flash program again. Mine picked right back up at 11% where the laast one had left off, and finished all the way through to the end.
