Re: (Possibly) Working aGPS Solution! (Take Two)

haven't tried the new one yet, but the first one still works well for me, locks in under a minute, usually under 30 seconds.

Re: (Possibly) Working aGPS Solution! (Take Two)

Seems to work ok on my phone. During the day I can get a lock before I walk to my window. At night time I can't get a lock at all inside my house. The only time I've noticed weather to affect my GPS is during a thunderstorm it takes longer to lock.

Re: (Possibly) Working aGPS Solution! (Take Two)

Does the new HTCQuickGps only speed up locks in Google Maps or in any GPS app?

Re: (Possibly) Working aGPS Solution! (Take Two)

I noticed the new app didn't need me to initiate a data connection, and it has the finger-friendly feel the first one didn't have. I like the countdown clock as well, nice to tell at a glance if you need an update. I still think it is a good idea to get a mortscript to run it at set intervals.....(wandering off to the script threads)......
