yea how crazy fast it is now... all along i was unhappy with slow gps now i can soft reset and get a lock in like 10 secs

Wow dude, that's quick. Indoors (though near a window - 2 bars signal), after installing to My Storage and downloading (almost instantly), it took about 25 seconds to get a lock in Google Maps.

GMaps doesn't even get beyond "Initializing GPS..." Not even saying "seeking..."

SO I soft reset.

Then I opened an internet connection again, and tried to run Q-GPS and got this error:

httpSendRequest failed: 12007

tried GMaps and I get Seeking GPS satellites (344063296)...

(Com is set to 8 and baud at 57600)

You arent connected. Make certain your USB cable isnt hooked up.

Sounds like something specific to you and your connection. Many have had success none have had this. You are using at minimum the "leaked" rom right?

I downloaded the cab via the phone so I'm not connected to the net...trying another soft reset.

I think I just jumped the gun and Opera wasn't fully established before opening QGPS
