Re: (Possibly) Working aGPS Solution! (Take Two)
I just tried what is posted here
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...03&postcount=8 and with using HTC Quick GPS, I got a cold lock in 2 seconds! I never get a lock here in my shop and this for some reason worked great! I highly recommend it. Google Maps doesn't even look for sats, is just pops right up. I'm gonna SR and try it again.

Re: (Possibly) Working aGPS Solution! (Take Two)
i have yet to get my GPS working. I have followed every page of this thread. Google Maps says "seeking GPS satellites (176291136)" it says that for a few minutes and then goes to weak signal. FYI i also have a Sprint HTC Diamond which that gps locks on in less then 30 seconds - so i know its not my location.
After going through all these pages i see that some people get it working right away and others are having problems. It's frustrating as i am deciding whether to keep my verizon (omnia) service. If i can get GPS working i would dump my diamond. Any ideas? Thanks. |
