Re: (Possibly) Working aGPS Solution!
I re-installed the old app, using your 4.0 ROM, and it's getting a lock faster now.

Re: (Possibly) Working aGPS Solution!
Adrynalyne..... I'm wondering (if you decide to go with the first app for the GPS info) if my idea of getting a mortscript writer to help out and enable an automatic enabling of data connection and running the app at user customized time/day intervals would be something to look into. With what I have seen people do with mortscript, I really don't think this should be to difficult to whip up for cooking into a ROM with the app. I can pass te idea along to a couple script writers I used to know (if I can still find them) if you like!!

Re: (Possibly) Working aGPS Solution!
So maybe everyone was thinking they were getting a good lock with the second GPS app because they still had data from the first GPS app downloaded? I know with one of them I was getting a lock on 4 to 5 sats before I could even walk to my window. I will keep both installed and keep testing...
