Well I think that I just bricked my phone. Eeverything was going well until I tapped the onscreen off button, then....kaput. It won't reset without locking up either.

Wheew. I got it to reset on the third try. DON'T use this app on the Omnia.

It would only go up to 500mhz, so I chose the automatic option. I can't remember what that option was called but it is supposed to adjust to the needs of the unit. It may have actually underclocked it based on the 500mhz ceiling.

considering our cpu automatically scales itself i would see no use in an 'automatic' option. i did read that there is a setting to detect above 624 or something on the program you used.

I have been using this app on my Omnia I900 for over a month without any problems. I have only gone as high as 480. No problems. Sorry you had a problem.

Perhaps the difference is that you run an i900 and I have an i910. Thanks for the attempt to help though.
