Touch Pro 2 Coming To Verizon?

Are you talking after NE2 and MiR, because the Touch Pro2 will easily be $400-$450 with a two year agreement, considering the original Touch Pro is still $419 before rebate.

XV6700 and XV6800 were the same way right up until their successors launched.

As for inventory, it's relatively meaningless, since Verizon will just dump remaining Touch Pros into a box (a big one) for insurance replacements as the TP2 release gets closer.

I got my touch pro for around 235 from best buy. They don't do mail in rebates so you get that 100 off right away. They also had some type of deal going on for smartphones when i bought mine and i was also elidgable for my 150 off. I got one hell of a deal and will be getting the same type of deal this year. With the exception of the smartphone discount i got last year. Unless they have another type of promotion

I was guessing at the final price after all rebates and discounts, and it is just a guess. I'm not wagering anything on it

as if I needed to be anymore excited, mobilesyrup has a video hands-on of the Touch Pro2 showing that the CDMA version has a 3.5mm jack.

For what it's worth, there's a poster on Engadget, named "Verizon Tester", who claims he works in the Verizon testing lab. He states that they've had "A LOT" of problems with the software on the TP2 and that it could be pushed out to Q1 of next year. If you click on his screen name, his prior posts seem credible.

If that's true than that Inhales Vigorously for VZW fans. Q1 for the tp2= Epic Fail by than maybe takes of a tp3 could be out lol

This same "Verizon Tester" person also said in a later post, " What I want to know is if the Verizon Touch Pro 2 will be hosting WM 6.5 by the time it comes out?" If he is testing the TP2 he would know what the WM OS system is by now. Therefore I question if he really works in a Big Red testing lab based on that comment. I suggest that we take a date like the Q1 one given by him with a grain of salt.
