Sprint to sell high-end AMOLED phones from Samsung

The Now Network should expect to carry a high-end, AMOLED device from the phone maker in the fourth quarter of this year. That description, however, fits the bill for any number of Sammy phones currently in the works -- if we had to take a shot in the dark, we'd be anxious to know what screen technology is inside the oft-rumored InstinctQ - Engadget

I'm hoping it's the Omnia II... I can dream, can't i?

Your dreams are too small..If I remember correctly...there was this article about samsung making a phone with a tegra chip..and maybe even this year...now there is a dream! lol

now im not a prophet or anything, but i highly doubt we'll see anything tegra-based till least Q1-2010, or laaaaate q4, maybe a nice xmas holiday release (me being overly optimistic) but w/ the verizon exclusive on the omnia deuce, im sad to say i think itll b the instincts replacement. who knows tho.

yeah might be. It was never mentioned it's gonna be a WM device. But I doubt it's an instinct replacement coz it was replace just this year isn't it. Omnia HD is nice but it's proprietary OS and can be a candidate.

The Instinct S30 wasn't an Instinct replacement. That's why there were being sold at the same price point (and still are). The instinct has evdo rev.A, and the S30 has rev.0. The Instinct Dash (SPH-M850) was supposed to be the successor to the Instinct, but that phone has disappeared from the rumor mill in the last few months. Now, we have this SPH-M900, which is the Instinct Q, which has more promise of having an actual release date.

Well I can probably say its not the Instinct because they never marketed Instinct as a "High End Phone", the Diamond and the Touch Pro were more "High End"

It's gotta be one of the Omnia's That do not have KB's. If Y'all notice, There is no rumored replacement for the Diamond. I was hoping for the TG01. But this one is closer coz it named a carrier.
