Good Day Jmart,

I am new to this site and to Imagio, I have downloaded the Project Teya 1.8.1.exe and was unsuccessful in flashing my imagio, the program is stuck @ 0% and errors out with communication error, I've tried it multiple times without any success ...
Can you please advise if this is a common error and how can i proceed further from here ?

You need to first unlock your phone using Hard-SPL. You may have to disable your Anti-virus and firewall when you do so.

Did you mean the Anti Virus & Firewall on the PC or any on the Phone ??

Unlocking to accept other carriers' SIM cards is different from unlocking the phone to load a custom ROM. Hard-SPL allows custom ROMs to be loaded on the Imagio.

You may have to turn off the Anti-virus and firewall on your PC when you run the Hard-SPL executable on your PC after connecting your phone to it using ActiveSync. When I had my anti-virus on, the anti-virus would delete the executable on uncompressing the archive. When I tried running the executable after turning off the anti-virus, the firewall prevented it from connecting to the network. I had to turn both off to be able to unlock my phone for custom ROMs.

new Teya not dropped. its on the way. right now its under performance testing. jmart is doing his level best to pack everthing together and release for us asap. please wait some more time to see new generation Teya.

Yeah, really cool to know this is still being tweaked. Teya was the best thing to happen to this phone. I have long gone the way of the droid now and my Imagio is somewhere in my storage closet. I started having problems with my screen. Good luck guys!!
