But it still does have a few issues that are bugging me...
1) Wi-Fi Tethering does not work unless I install an old cab that I have from a few months ago to overwrite whatever version you're using.
2) Any time I go to the homescreen, it is an hour and two minutes off. And then the clock flips to the correct time right away.
3) Activesync through USB just doesn't work. It didn't on RC1.1 either. It keeps thinking I want to internet share, even though I have it set to ActiveSync.
For item 2 its been discussed and a cab posted to stop the clock flipping. Thats how sense 2.5 does it.

Items 1 & 3. You have to select wifi tethering from tools folder and select use these settings next time for it to ungray out from comm mgr. Both of these items fully work on mine an everyone else's. Must be something to do with your individual setup.

Agreed. Everything is working perfectly on this end.

I don't see this ROM as the least bit sluggish , mine is very fast and smooth.
Evidently , you must have some issues on your phone.

I never quite understood how freshly flashed devices can behave so differently, but oh well. FWIW, I was able to actually access the original wifi router and I was able to turn it on. It said it was ready to accept connections, however the new connection simply did not appear to be broadcasting, both from what the phone was showing and what my computer was detecting. But I solved that problem.

The activesync issue I fixed by unchecking the box that allowed for faster synchronization. Now it is correctly detecting my phone.

I'll have to check into that clock fix. What a strange behavior. There's no way that could be "by design"

The clock flipping issue has something to do with sense 2.5 all roms have this problem. Heres the cab to fix that...

WVGA_2.5.cab

BTW.. Whats the technique for flashing a new rom taking out the battery, reflashing, to make it more stable?

Please hit the thanks button if I've helped

Thanks for the links and cabs. I guess that explains it: HTC did do the 1:02 animation on purpose. Makes you wonder whether these guys ever do market research first...

Garmin mobile xt

I see that in the current rom there is garmin mobile xt installed. Is there a way to use the onboard gps with that instead of a garmin gps unit?
