Flashed my own custom Dr rom this morning using The Dr's kitchen. No more HTC MC. The Dr already said he didn't want this thread to turn into a tutorial. So I won't post any more kitchen stuff here. Just thought I would say thanks, and, if there are any guys like me - clueless - then I figured we could use my thread here...

I saw it and downloaded it a week or 2 ago. I prefer the manila 2.5 builds from msm 7xxx processor devices (Touch Pro2 and Topaz builds) not the snapdragon ones Leo/HD2. The manila I use is from a unbranded TouchPro2 and performs much better on our msm7600 processor IMO. Notice the difference inbetween the rest of my sense 2.5 and the footprints tab in my latest 4 roms or so as footprints tab is from a Leo sense 2.5.

maisonpulaski posted a link to a thread where you can post anything regarding virtual kitchen, and you will only receive the password through pm. also in case you did not see the post, he also asked this kitchen not be shared outside of ppcgeeks, and that any work done with his kitchen gives credit to him if shared publicly.

I've had some issues with the camera lately, mostly speed to focus/shoot, and messing with settings wasn't doing much. What I ended up doing was locating a CAB of an older camera module (6.15) and it's blazingly quick to take pictures again, provided the CaptParams are re-tweaked.

From what I read, camera 6.28 only does the auto-focus when it takes a picture, and the older ones auto-focus constantly while the app is running. Not sure how accurate that is, but it fits.

With camera 6.28, however, I've had little to no issues with the auto color balance, which has been great. Older camera module was a little annoying in this respect.

What are the feelings about asking Drellisdee for an older camera module next time? The new one seems to be better quality software and probably saves battery life, but the old one seems to take pretty much the same photos and can do it very quickly.
