Just filed a claim for my cousin's touch, drunk guys and touchscreens dont mix, this is what I got.
The replacement option for your insured equipment is a UT STARCOM 6950. This equipment is selected based on comparable features and functions of your insured equipment. A charger will be included with your replacement phone. Do you wish to proceed with this replacement option? Selecting "No" at this stage will prompt you to call Asurion for further verification and claim processing. A different replacement option will not likely be offered. |

Confirmed as well. My touch got wet 2 weeks ago and I have been holding out replacing it until I could get a diamond. I have had 3 touches in a year go bad and was almost happy this one got wet. My email also states it is a new phone, not a refurb. My only concern with the diamond is the lack of a SD slot, hopefully I can get garmin XT to work on it. If so, I'm pretty happy with the exchange.
