My charging port has been acting finicky lately... it doesn't charge or puts the phone in standby automatically when I plug it in. Is there any chance Asurion would return my original touch if they find the problem is in the charger instead of the phone and make me return the diamond?

Took my Touch in yesterday because the touchscreen is going bad to the point that it doesn't respond very well anymore.

NO DIAMOND. They are sending me a Touch ](*,)

Those of you waiting to trade, I would wait a while.

IMO, these deductibles are complete bulls***. Why am I paying $7 a month if I have to pay $55-$100 to replace the phone?

EDIT: I just emailed the "CEO" of Asurion. There is a link to do this on there website.

Just went to the Asurion site and they have the 6950 for replacement. I tried to submit the application online but it asked that I call their 1-800 numb. The rep said they are sending me a 6950! I also got a confirmation email stating the same.

Is it possible to get them to put the deductible on your next bill or do you have to pay it up front?

my daughter has my old Touch (i gave it to her after i got my Touch Pro. the screen started acting flaky and calls kept being dropped. so. i paid the $50 and they sent me another touch (last week). after having it only 1 day, the screen started acting flaky, the end key onscreen to end a phone call stopped working and it stopped ringing (hardreset didn't fix any of the problems). so i called them back on friday and the lady said she would send me a refurbished diamond to replace. i was really happy. anyway, so the ups guy already shows up today and instead of a refurb, it's a brand new, in the original box, diamond.

where can i find the htc touch to select as the phone i have on phone claim? i only see the diamond under htc. is it under audiovox?

Well i tried and they told me they can't charge it to my bill id just have to pay up front. That sucks because the site is actually giving me a diamond too.

The Rep gave me the option of paying up front or adding it to my Sprint bill, I opted to be billed by sprint.
She also said it was a new unit, not a refurb. :headbang:

When I did the online application it already knew that I had a 6900, I just confirmed so it never let me pick one.
