diamond doesnt have a keyboard, the diamond pro does..

and how is everyone checking what phone they would get? can't seem to find it on their site 0_o

The diamond and the touch pro are two different phones. The phone being discussed here is the diamond and it does not have a keyboard that slides out.

There is no such thing as a Diamond Pro. Why do I keep hearing Diamond Pro? For crying out loud... where do people come up with this crap? Sorry to rant.

Correct. The phone people are discussing in this thread is the Touch Diamond, and people keep confusing it w/ the Touch Pro.
Touch Diamond = No keyboard, no expandable memory
http://www.htc.com/www/product/touch.../overview.html

Touch Pro = Keyboard, expandable memory
http://www.htc.com/www/product/touchpro/overview.html

Basically, they've confused the names of the 2 different devices.

BTW- I just went through the Asurion site, and if I replace my phone, I would also be getting a remanufactured 6900.

"The replacement option for your insured equipment is a REMANUFACTURED HTC 6900 TOUCH. This equipment is selected based on comparable features and functions of your insured equipment. A charger will be included with your replacement phone."

The reason is because when they were giving out diamonds everyone sent in their touch now they have them in stock. It was the same way with the mogul and the pro a few weeks ago.

Are they back to giving out pros now? Presumably if the supply of moguls dried up again they would switch back?
