asurion sucks... i dint even know they now charge 100 i remember i lost it like 2 times and i just had to pay 50 and thats it..
so i have read most of the thread and i just want somebody to confirm me this when i got my vogue it had a little problem with the screen and when i pressed the device.. i really dint care much.... now i wanna get a replacement or any advice to get another vogue thru sprint...like i said asurion sucks charging double if they want to -.- bastards.. lol |

Asurion now does charge $100 per claim for tier 2 phones ( mainly smartphones/pda's, phones that are a bit pricey) and $50 for tier 1 phones (all others). Now I've most of this thread and a few things that im not sure that have been answered is The HTC touch pro and UT STARCOM 6850 are the same phone. The first is what i call the public name and the second what I would call the technical name. Another thing, people are saying they are receiving an HTC mogul for a mogul claim. I believe this is due to the fact that there are two different ways to claim ( or atleast me being a sprint customer, there is) The one website is http://www.nextel.com/en/services/se...olutions.shtml (I believe this is a Sprint/Nextel self service site to make a claim.) The second website is http://www.phoneclaim.com (This is asurions claim site.) Now one might say big whooptie doo, but i needed to make a claim and went to the first site and they were going to send me another Mogul, which i refuse to have due to the slow nature of the phone. I was actually going to wait til i was out of contract to get a new phone so i could get a rebate and not have to worry about getting the mogul again, until i went to the second website. After I cancelled the claim when sprint showed they were gonna send me another mogul, i went to phoneclaim .com and went through the process and It says they are gonna send me a HTC 9850 Touch pro new fully kitted and they are sending it 2nd day super fast mail. Im sure they spend close to $20 to send the phone that quickly, Unless they have some kinda deal with brown cause they send out so many, But i'd still rather wait for regular ground mail if they would reduce the difference in price from the Insurance claim, ( or atleast give us the option)

I hate asurion with their diamonds.I like my vogue more then diamond.Im ok to switch to htc touch HD,but not the f....n diamond

I dropped my phone this afternoon (XV6900) and now the screen is broken. I went to phoneclaim.com and filled out all of the information all the way through. All that was left to do was submit the claim, but I didn't see anyplace on the page that said what phone I would be getting to replace my broken one. I am on verizon, does anyone know what they are replacing the xv6900 with? Or, does anyone know where to see what phone they would replace it with? Thanks in advance.

Please feel free to not forgive me if this was posted already by someone else. but i had a situation a few years back. all the way untill about 5 years ago i was the samsung sph-i300 (that thing literally looked and felt like an art decco brick). anyway, one day it just gave up the ghost. so i called in an insurance claim. Because they didn't make/have any more i300 as it was so old they gave me the i500 (for free as i was a long time non-complainer/filer) which was pretty sweet at the time. well within a week the i500 fried and they sent me out another one which fried as well, (charger problem). aparentley it was the only i500 left in the world so they sent me a Treo 650, friggin awesome. all for free. so your experience with assurion is very based on what is avaliable for them to replacee. my 2 cents

I remember about a year ago, if you took your phone in to a Sprint Store for repair/defect and that if they had determined that your phone was malfunctioning due to accidental damage they would still do the advanced exchange but charge you a $35 fee. Does anyone know if Sprint is still doing this?

I lost my phone last night and did a claim. Did anyone else have to fill out a affidavit? This is my first claim with Sprint and I did many with T-Mobile and never had to fill anything out. I just called and they sent out a new phone
