The notion that people not only fail to remember their specific appointments, but fail to even remember that they may have appointments coming up that they might want to check (again, with the simple tap of an icon), and as such require a constant reminder is just funny... to me. I understand some people may want that functionality (there's certainly nothing wrong with it), but it seems more like a luxury than a necessity for anybody with a functioning brain. |

I am excited to hear that they are working on customizing M2D/3D, and I hope we can figure out how to add back the functionality we are missing |

TF is for the majority of the ppl that will probably never install app on their phone. A lot of ppl like out of box and simple to use phones. That's why iTune/iPhone is successful in that regards, pay, click, buy, upload.
What do you guys think |

Re: Why all the fascination for TouchFlo 2D/3D?
No, I just have the brain capacity to think "hey.. I have things to do today... let me tap the calendar tab to jog my memory".
I know it's far out there. |

Re: Why all the fascination for TouchFlo 2D/3D?
That is sort of a shallow statement, or close minded if you will. I specifically purchased a windows mobile phone due to its calendar feature. Short term memory capacity being congruent with intelligence is an ignorant perception.
Now, I made the innocent plea for empathy in hopes that someone would have a solution that would not involve taking away the beauty of M2D. Perhaps something along the lines of "Oh, why don't you just do this to replace the Call History line with another calendar line" would have sufficed. My only solution at this point in time is to revert back to the stock today.

Re: Why all the fascination for TouchFlo 2D/3D?
Again..... if you can be bothered to look at your phone to try to keep up with all of that, I don't see how you can't be bothered with tapping ONE button under this UI to get the same functionality.
And, if this UI shows you your next appointment, how do you miss anything? It's not like it shows you your final appointment, and you have to guess what comes before it. If it's 2:30, it'll show you your 3:00. When you go into your 3:00, look down; it'll show you your 3:20. I really don't understand the issue. And again.... if that's not enough... tap the screen ONE TIME. There's your full schedule for the day. You know, people were able to get things done before cell phones were even invented. Are we so lazy now, that not only do we not bother to try to remember anything ourselves, but we're too lazy to tap the screen ONCE for a reminder? It's a design flaw to make people tap the screen ONCE now? |
