Dew.Man I have followed your words of wisdom however I can't seem to install it. It gives me the following error when I hit the autorun in the \Storage Card\2577\ map It asks me :' do you want to install nav n go 8?' I hit yes and then it stated the following:'
Can't copy:\Storage Card\iGO8\application.dat anybody? |

Just messed around with iGo8 for a few hours and I'm really impressed. The POI database is really good in this version and it's finding places other GPS units/software I've used have not found! The 3D elevation feature is pretty cool and I'm really surprised at how well this program is running. I was expecting the animation to be somewhat choppy due to our phones having a lack of video drivers, but it was moving very fluidly. It was even this way when I flew around some areas where I knew there would be 3D buildings.

Anyone got the dem files to work for canada? I have the maps and they are working great... I turned on the detail for 3d at high... I just cant seem to see anything really pronounced when it comes to a really steep street. I saw this video here... anyone has that as some result?

I'm not sure what format the originals are saved in, but here is a sample of a more complete dictionary file. You should be able to open it with Wordpad/MS Word.
