GPS OEM...first attempt - Page 7

I'm wandering, has anyone looked into the HTC Touch Cruise? It is GPS enabled and looks like it was modelled after the Touch/Vogue. Might look different but the description on HTC's website is almost identical except for GPS and an FM Radio, oh and WiFi.

Maybe the radio is compatible.

Just a thought.

GSM vs CDMA = different radios/technology

And so is GPS, right? Just brainstorming a possibility of perhaps there are some settings that are GPS specific that do not matter which radio is on the phone.
This brings me to the next thought of why the GPS wouldn't already be enabled on this phone if it has an enabled twin sister...unless the enabling happened in a later version... or if it simply doesn't have the hardware.

Just ideas...I haven't been following this, so perhaps it's already been brought to light.
