Anyone figured out how to stop being asked if they are still there? I use Sprint TV to listen to NFL Network and miss the question thus getting kicked out even though I am still "there."

Just thought I'd post some results from my experience with Sprint TV. I'm on the SERO plan. When I first started the Sprint TV program it told me I required an update, and proceeded to download the appropriate file automatically. It starts fine afterwords. I am not getting all the channels, or even all the basic channels that are supposedly included with PowerVision. The only channels that seem to work are CNN Mobile, NFL Network, Fox Mobile, Movie Trailers, and an assortment of content (but not all) within the SEE channel. Pretty worthless channels IMO. When a channel doesn't load there are various messages displayed explaining why. The most common are "channel subscription info not available" and "channel not available at this time". Others show a page with prices and a "subscribe" button.

From as far as I can tell, Sprint is not sure which channels they want to provide SERO customers for free, and that explains the inconsistent results we have all been getting, and the inconsistent channel lineups that are floating around on the web. Given this is a relatively new service, and one that relies on newly implemented technology, it is not suprising that the business model for this service has not been complete nailed down by corporate. However, one would expect the service to be fairly consistent across similar phones/service plans, which it is not.

Oh thank goodness. I thought it was just me. I called Sprint about those channels with the "channel subscription info not available", and the CSR proceeded to tell me to upgrade with a text. I had already done the upgrade like you have the first time opening Sprint TV, but I decided to follow along. So I install it and it still fails. He then asks me about my coverage area, and I say that I have an EVDO signal and decent coverage, and I can only view the exact same channels you can. Upon further research, I noticed that Sprint's Basic Power Vision plan for regular Sprint accounts include "NFL Network, Disney Channel, The Weather Channel, Fox Sports, E!, CNN and Sprint Exclusive Entertainmentâ„¢ with exclusive programs on music, sports and celebrity gossip." So I explain to the CSR about that and the channels I can't access like Disney Channel & E!. I ask him if he can look into my account, and he proceeds to saying "Oh, I see you're on SERO." And also tells me he can't look up that informaton due to me being on a SERO account. So, he goes onto proceed with telling me it's a "temporary network outage" and to call back in a week to see if results differ. Now I've only had SERO for about a week now, and I've already contacted a CSR 6 times, for just the most basic info that anyone could pull up, but keep getting transferred, or basically just tell me to use "sprint.com" basically asking me to do it myself, which I was unable to do due to my "Digital Lounge" part of my account having an error, which I solved in 10 seconds by apparently adding my phone to the account, which I assumed should have been an automated process, when I signed up, which 3 calls to CSR couldn't solve. I'm really starting to wonder how Sprint teaches it's CSRs, as for more advanced stuff, like using Gmail IMAP instead of POP, they don't seem to have any clue about. Anyway, I'm just hoping that Sprint TV will fix it's issues, as to be quite honest, I rather have those other channels than NFL, since my family normally watches it at home on our HDTV.

I downloaded the 1005cab and even with that Sprint Tv doesn't work well on my phone. It keeps loading and in some channels says the channel not available. I tried to download MobyTV and it says my phone is not supported. Was anyone able to download MobyTV? Any advise? Thanks

I downloaded that zip file and now what? Do I have to move it somewhere to a certain folder like ringtones?

Yes, the Ultimate $25 Power Vision pack comes with the "premium" channels such as the 25 or so live channels. I tested how real time they are and it appears in comparison to Dish the sprint premium live channels are a minute and fifteen seconds behind (tested TLC several times). The $30 pro pack knocks off the premium tv channels I believe for unl. sms.

My question... I too am getting the Unauthorized User error, although I have only had mine active for 26 hours and expect the provisioning to cure in a few days. Nevertheless, I installed the Sprint TV update and now I have two annoying icons in my programs folder. How do I delete the one which is old? Also, do the cube and today Sprint TV icons point to the new Sprint TV app?
