Re: Unlockers for Custom Roms on Vogue 2.31(GPS) and 0.40(nonGPS)

Yes when it says to disable USB in activesync it means uncheck the box that says "allow USB connections" in the activesync connection settings.
This allows the exitbl to run, otherwise you will get an error that it can't connect on usb.

Although--if your phone resets and passes the bootloader screen and goes to WM then it probably worked for you.

Re: Unlockers for Custom Roms on Vogue 2.31(GPS) and 0.40(nonGPS)

Hey everyone perhaps you have come across something like this:
I was trying to get GPS to work on my Sprint Vogue and so I used cokemans 2.31 unlocker and upgraded from 6.0 to 6.1. Now my phone works, but internet/data does not. Obviously GPS doesn't either in google maps. I tried installing vallhalla.
any ideas? I thought there was a registry tweak for this.
my radio is 3.42.30

The phone restarts immediately after the RUU finishes and doesn't give you a chance to disable the USB connection within activesync (I have had the screen pulled up a couple of my attempts and was faster than quick draw disabling USB, but still not fast enough). How do I get the phone into bootloader mode to see what it says anyway? This isn't my phone, I am trying to upgrade for my dad so he will be able to use Internet Sharing so I am not familiar.

Thanks in advance!

Anyone tried this in Win 7 yet? I am wondering if it will work, as that is the machine I have access to right now...

I have a Bell Vogue and I seem to be in the same boat. I've tried loading the unlocker on two different PC's (laptop and desktop) and it always freezes at 0%. After the three-colour screen, I see the ActiveSync icon disappear and I see a quick popup that tells me that the PC has discovered a new USB device but that it has no driver.

Thanks in advance for your help.

try this and tell me what you get?

hold the camera and power buttons, then use the styles to tap the reset,

keep holding the camera and power buttons untill you get the screen with 3 colors, red green (blue/gren)

While in this screen (NO USB PLUGGED IN) you should see the word "SERIAL" at the bottom, then plug in the usb it will now say 'USB'.

LET ME KNOW IF IT CHAGNES FROM SERIAL TO USB!

Yes it changes immediately, however, I get a new device popup, qualcomm something or other and WinXP can't install it. The
same thing has happened on 3 computers .

Re: Unlockers for Custom Roms on Vogue 2.31(GPS) and 0.40(nonGPS)

I have had a VX6900 Touch with NSFAN's 6.5 ROM with GPS working on it. I just purchased a Touch Pro from Verizon and am unable to proceed with the unlocker. It initializes then it reboots the phone and tells me to disconnect and reconnect the USB. However, the phone never reboots. It just sits there saying that the phone is restarting, but never gets any further. I then have to soft reset and I can use the phone, but I cannot run 2.31. By the way, I did install Valhalla, but could not get it to work, so I'm unsure if I should run 2.31 or .41 or .40.
