yeah, some are working some not...not sure why

working: ##DEBUG#, ##PRL#, ##PST#

not working: ##AKEY#, ##DATA#, ##PREV#, ##RTN#, ##VOCODER#

btw...If you go to start/programs/Phone Codes there is a shortcut to each of these (this was added to my version 3 ROM)

My only request would be the big start menu from the Touch's stock ROM. It's easier to use with your thumb... I'm not sure how to install/enable that, if it's possible.

Thanks for all of your work on this!

Dave
thanks....yes, I'll be adding the large start menu in the next version.

Ok, just tried it. I changed the PagePool to 16MB before installing it. Oddly, right after the ROM installed and whenever I do a hard reset, it still runs that Sprint customization thing though I can't find any of the Sprint customizations after it's done running that customization thing and resets the device. After the ROM is installed and after a hard reset with this ROM there is something in the "Remove Programs" screen in Settings. It's the only thing in there: Customization Customize_tool

Also, there's no easy to access task killer now like the one in the stock Sprint ROM for the Touch (the drop down menu on the top right of the today screen that lets you close programs or the one in the start menu in the other WM6.1 ROM). I really preferred the task killer in the stock Sprint ROM (the drop down menu at the top right corner of the today screen).

The battery meter is also like the one in the stock Sprint ROM (small battery icon next to where the drop down task killer menu would be). The battery meter in the other 6.1 ROM I tried was a color bar at the very top of the screen. Is that the normal 6.1 battery meter or is the normal 6.1 battery meter the same as the one in the stock Sprint ROM?

So far everything seems good. If possible, could you add that drop down menu task killer to the today screen again? Also, would it be possible to change the left soft-key (normally the "Calendar" key) to the SMS key? Change "Calendar" to "SMS" and make it open text messaging? Finally, the option under the "Personal" tab in Settings that lets us have the big start menu would be great as well.

Thanks again for this!

I did remove the sprint autorun, so I'm not sure, but to get around this, simply soft reset b4 the customizer runs.

I'll have to look into the task manager app. I'm also adding the large start menu.

The colored battery bar at the top of my other ROM, is vistahide battery gauge, it is an addon. the battery icon next to the task manager is the standard. As far as changing the softkeys, you're going to have to change them yourself, do a search on the forum, it's explained somewhere, but I have not had the desire to do it.

Thanks OMJ. The addition of the HTC task manager / drop-down task killer next to the battery icon on the today screen, the large start menu and maybe if you could, the left / calendar softkey change to SMS / text message would make your clean version ROM even better.

I think he removed HTC X-Button due to WM6.1 having a built-in task manager.

WM6.1 does have a built in task manager, but you still have to go to the start menu to get it. The HTC X-button task killer is much more convenient.

I understand it's less taps, but you can always put it in your home launcher as a shortcut. Could you manage two taps?

I don't think it's possible to remove it.
I have the Bell (canadian) version and now I have both the Bell and the Sprint Ahead at boot-up (and I did do the soft-reset before the stuff installs)

So I don't think a modifying a "rom" will actually do anything to it.
