I'm having a problem with my added words not saving. I tried to add new words by clicking the + sign, multi-tap them in, press enter. If I try to re-enter the same word, it won't show up in the word selection list thing.

Another thing I noticed thats different is if I type in letters using XT9 that aren't in the dictionary, it just erases everything i typed rather than leave random jumble of letters.

Is this due to the HTC keyboard you used??

So I don't think a modifying a "rom" will actually do anything to it.
actually I believe there is a way to stop the customization.....mrgeoff, shared his registry tweaks OEM, and I believe there was a setting in there that would stop the customization......I had taken out that reg setting, to let the customization run....some ppl wanted the sprint crap.....I am taking the sprint crap out of my new build.....correct me if I'm wrong mrgeoff.

I think it's this one....

Yeah, I had a whole section in my regedits that actually stopped the whole calibration, timezone, and ext rom nonsense. I think there was a couple of regedits that need to take place to turn off the customizations. I'll have to look it up this evening, or you might want to take a look at my original RGU

I have also been having a real blast trying to figure out the issue with the touch keyboard myself. It loves to mess up within IE. I have tried using two different packages and trying to build my own package. I wish I could get it to work in my rom.

Sorry, i don't think what i meant to say came across clearly.

What I meant was that when you bootup the phone, you get the "Sprint Ahead" logo and stuff, right? Well, I'm saying that the logo at bootup cannot be removed since I am not with Sprint and never had it until I installed the custom rom. And now, I have both the Sprint Ahead and the regular blue screen from Bell showing at boot up.

The programss stuff, that's understable that it's removable. But for me to have both the Bell and the Sprint boot up? It's weird huh?

Best ROM yet!

Thank you Thank you Thank You!

Of the 6 ROMs I've flashed, this one is the most stable and fastest by far. (32mb pagepool)

One question: I love your 'Video Sites' launcher, but none of the videos on those sites will play... Do I need to install tcmp72 or something else? I thought you had included everything needed for YouTube watching.

Also, I have had a minor intermittent problem with the 'hard' Talk and End buttons stop working. ie, I'm in the middle of a phone call and I can't end it by hitting the 'hard' end key. The 'soft' menu End key always works fine. After a soft reset, it works again. I don't know if it is a function of Polenz Vista Dialer (which I have been using in all ROMs) or a glitch with 6.1.

Your 107.3 version was the only ROM that elicited a "WOW" with respect to speed... VERY VERY noticeable! And even with all my programs loaded, I still have 143MB(Storage) and 65MB(Programs).

Thanks again!

The Sprint Logo at startup is an optional component that is cooked into the ROM. It can be removed and it will just go the green windows mobile splash screen ( or whatever is in \windows\welcomeahead.96.png ), but it has to be done when the ROM is cooked. You can try to remove the "Startup_animation.dll" and see if that stops it from happening.

Derek is correct.....my 1st rom I didn't know I needed to add, so it was missing, I had added starting w/ version 2.

I am currently testing version 4, if you would like, I can cook a v4 w/ no Sprint Splash.....also, version 4 will not have the Sprint Customization....I got rid of that crap.

well just to be clear, the video sites launcher is not mine.....I am merely a chef putting it all together. Let me test those links out....& utube.

I have not had any issues w/ the hard keys but I will test b4 uploading version 4.

OMJ,
Could you please list in detail "that crap"...?
I'm sure I probably don't need or want most of that stuff, I just would like to know what the complete list is.

Love your ROM... I am not worthy...
