I am dying to try this new ROM. However, how would I go back to the original Sprint ROM that came on the Touch if I didnt like it? Is there a way to make a back-up with one of the back-up programs like Sprite or SPB Back-up then just restore if I want to go back to the original?

You go back to the original Sprint ROM by downloading it from the PPCGeeks FTP site and re-installing it.

though I've never gone back to stock sprint rom, I believe you need to lock your phone, then just run the stock rom exe

you may want to hold off, version 4 is coming soon, I'm just trying to resolve a problem on a new program I added....or just flash again, lol

Add Contacts: What's missing if you don't include this?
AudioPara cab: This sets the audio parameters, so what do you use in it's place?
GetGL: Not sure what this is
Groove Mobile: Something to do with MS Office? Don't need that.
Live Search: Nice to have, but you end up having to install an update from Sprint anyway. Not necessary to have in the ROM.
GetOZ: Is this IM software?
GetMvsrt: No clue
SprintTV: Same as Live Search, you have to download an update anyway
Today Plugin: Not necessary
Getmail... : Is this Sprint Mobile Email? (Not really necessary)
On Demand: Not earth shattering, but could be installed later right?

If anyone has an opinion about why one of these might be needed in a ROM, I'm listening...

You dont *need* any of it. I never run customizations. I'm sure we all have the Sprint Customer Service on speed dial so you shouldn't need the contacts cab lol

Some people like to install the sprint software. I think it's a matter of preference!
