Yeah, I saw those issues 2....I'm not using the clean version, but another member requested the Task Manager, but I forgot to remove the built in mgr....and the large start menu appearing in multiple places, I'll have to check the oem to see, no harm really though, just an extra shortcut.

I noticed that you had a user mention about a couple of issues I had with my TCPMP and Enlarge Start Menu packages.

I uploaded the changes to my OEM folder. It wasn't major fixes, but I had already done it to my ROM and forgot to re-post it.

yeah, it just got done cleanin up my pm's, lol.....what issues were they? I'll look back, but this is the 1st version w/ TCPMP....I put it in there cuz the streaming palyer was not playing the videos from various site.....it works fin for m.youtube.com but not for others....TCPMP seems to work well for those sites.

Well TCPMP had an issue when trying to open the video sites link within programs. Youtube has been acting goofy about some swf arguments not being passed. I think that is the flashvideobundle fault and not the package itself.

Enlarge Start Menu had the extra goofy item within the system settings. I removed that as well.

Can anyone verify if v4 fixes the word dictionary not saving new entries? Someone else posted that issue with v3, and I installed it last night and noticed the same thing. While typing, if I go to add a word like I used to, it won't save it. The next time I go to type that word it won't recognize it.

...also, can anyone see if the ##DATA# screen works? In v3 it would pop up a window really fast and close it. There's some settings in there I would like to change.

Is there any way to rmeove the battery gagues that are in the title bar? I would like to have the SPB close avaiable for use in the upper right of the title bar. However with all the battery gagues it seems like it will not allow me to have it running. The three I see are as follows, Vista gradient across the top, then the digital one with percentage above the battery shape, and then the orignal four bar battery thing.
I know this is not directly related to this ROM, so I did set a seperate thread regarding this. However, seeing as it does happen in this ROM thought you might know how to change it.

Other than that I have really enjoyed this ROM.

Ok well I at least figured part of this out on my own.
The digital type one in the upper right was the quick menu battery indicator. So with that disabled the SPB works correctly now.

So now, is there anyway to remove the standard battery gauge from the title bar?

Version 3 is awesome! Great work. Thanks for introducing me to Quick Menu. I love that thing.

Questions on version 4 before I flash.

Is there a file I can run to install the Sprint customizations?
I use to cook roms for the 6700, and I could go into the extended_rom and run which ever cab I wanted.
Is there a similar option on the touch?

There has not been a fix for the keyboard not adding words....if there is a fix, I haven't seen it yet.....same thing for the ## codes, I really haven't had time to research.

yes, the one is the upper right is from QM....I always change mine to percent only.....I mentioned it earlier in the thread, but to remove the Vistahide battery gauge, delete the link in \windows\startup.....soft reset.

*EDIT* I musta read your post too quick....well I'm using version 4 too. I dont have the stock battery icon, I have the clock.
The ROM has this reg tweak for the dialpad popup issue:

"TBOpt"=dword:1 (enable top battery meter) You may have to add TBOpt dword if it doesn't exist.
"TBOpt"=dword:0 (disable top battery met)

Use the Clock edit you have and use this for the battery:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Services>Power>ShowIcon=0

I'm not sure about using a seperate dictionary, but I do use TouchPal & just tested....added a new word...then confirmed it was saved.
