The orignal version No2Chem built had all of the bloatware. It's not in the ftp site anymore, but you might ask if it could be reposted so you can download it.

I have a Bell Touch (it's canadian carrier) and I have 150MB+ free after installing this rom!
Even with the sprint stuff that I can't use!

That's insane.


Anyways, "Audio Gateway" program doesn't do anything when i try to launch it.

Do you mean the build 100? I do have that and am running it now... but that was not based on the official release version of 6.1. Not sure what much changed from beta to release...

I use QuickMenu (included in my ROM) if you go into options, you can set it to close programs on short press & ok. It works very well!

Sorry, but cookin a ROM & messin w/ the OS are much different. You can try this one from dharvey, he says it's from the OEM Sprint WM6 ROM merged w/ 6.1. I was running it for awhile but I don't remember if it had all the Sprint crap.

Yeah, I'm taking it out. I used to use Triangle Powers BT Audio, but I only have it on a cab, need to convert it to OEM.

Do you have a custom ROM for your Bell?

Yeah, this is the version that i have installed. It's good, but it is the unofficial (pre-release version) of 6.1. I hear ya about it being difficult. I'm going to try your rom today... Thanks again!

Hey, how did this work for you? I wasn't sure what to select when I went to restore via Sprite Backup, the "Device" or "ROM" restore... which is the appropriate one to pick?

I used the ROM option. It took three tries but eventually worked. The first two tries, there were little things that were wrong like my old texts not being there and the list of installed programs being blank. It eventually worked. I lost some high scores on some games but almost 100% of my settings, scores, etc. were restored after the ROM update.

I used the Sprint OEM/6.1 merge that was referrenced above but I changed the pagepool to 24MB. Works great!

version 3 uploaded, see 1st post for info. I got the Touch Keyboard in this ROM, but I'm sure if it's the one ya'll want.....if it's not, I need someone to post a SS, so I know what it looks like.
