Patience and be calm and play stupid...Good luck
I would say that but it's actually my USB port thats bad. I'm sure they've filed that so coming up with a new problem might not work out in my favor. Thanks though. I'll just have to keep trying.

Re: Asurion replacing TP with TP2

Okay. So I definitely screwed up and never got any kinda coverage from sprint with my TP. Is it too late to sign up now for coverage? I swore they said I could add it at anytime. If can add it now, even though my TP has had a number of issues and continues to have them, would they allow me to report the damage anytime soon or would I have to wait a reasonable amount of time so its not like i get protection friday and report damage monday? Any advice? My touch pro has seen better days and I somehow neglected to get coverage.

I would go in to a Sprint store that you have never been to and play dumb and tell them you'd like to inquire about your current plan and features. While going through everything tell them you thought you already had the TEP on it and that it was supposed to be added a long time ago. They should go a head and add it as long as there is no bad physical damage. I would wait at least a week maybe even one billing cycle before reporting. But hey you can always try as soon as you get it.

Good luck.

TP owners are fed up with shoddy equipment. Period. Everyone wins...... sooo some of us may have to wait longer.... oh well. That is life folks. Stop whining.

Mine should be coming in tomorrow. Charged to my account, no paperwork required. Glad I called last night as soon as I saw this thread. I actually was able to get a CSR to credit my account for most of the deductible. I got a failing refurb, needed to place an order for a replacement right away, but was away on business nowhere near a Sprint store. Sprint is awesome.

So what did you say to get a credit for your deductible, cause I don't feel like paying the full 100??

I emailed them and told them about the overheating issues. They emailed me back and told me that I can either go to the store and have them look at it or go through asurion and they will credit me back if i get charged.

So just email them tell them you were having overheating issues and had to go through assurion and say I was told by a rep you could credit me?

Sounds like a great idea, now to think of a way to make that sound more sympathetic to our cause...
