i think that should work but when I emailed them i just told them about the problems with my phone and they offered me the credit if i decided to get a replacement thru asurion and to contact them after i get the phone.


question for those who got the deductible billed to their sprint account. does it show up immediately after they shipped the replacement or it takes a while to show up. My phone got shipped out today but the balance on my sprint account is still the same.

Just got confirmation that my TP2 shipped and will be here Monday... And I work from home on Monday's so this is perfect...

Got a tracking number and all... As well, I confirmed once again with the person I spoke with that it is in fact a Touch Pro 2!!!

This may be one of the few times that I can wait for the weekend to be over...

I called yesterday too and they told me they can't replace my TP with a TP2 at all. I wonder if they flag your account to deny TP2 request. I've tried 4x already. But congrats on you new TP2!

No luck on a call today. A black-sounding lady was very rude, flat out denied even any replacement phone. Said I'd have to go to the sprint repair center because I told her my keyboard wasn't functioning which was true and documented by sprint tech. Did you guys tell them you lost or damaged the TP?

I was having kb issues from a refurb I got off eBay a month ago, went to their website, checked of the option that the keyboard was out. So the site then tell me to go see a repair center. I go back and select water damage. (so I can still say it still works every once in a while if they check my calls or w/e)

Then I went though all that bull crap paperwork the day this thread was started, call them yesterday and finally get the TP2 shipped. Now when I have to ship it back I guess I will have to accidentally drop it in water or something. I do feel kinda bad about that, but then again we wouldn't have to do this crap if these issues weren't so common with everyone.

All the *moral police* don't even bother responding to this plz.

so after sitting on the phone and speaking with 2 reps and a service manager i was able to finagle a TP2 to be shipped out and delivered to me by Monday, for a deductible price of $89.00.
the service manager had to be the NICEST customer service rep ive dealt with in YEARS! that guy was very very knowledgeable and very charismatic to my situation [ b.s'd my way thru that convo the way my daughter tries to b.s me out of punishment ]

not bad..89 bucks for a $300+ device!

thanks for the heads up everyone!
