so after sitting on the phone and speaking with 2 reps and a service manager i was able to finagle a TP2 to be shipped out and delivered to me by Monday, for a deductible price of $89.00.
the service manager had to be the NICEST customer service rep ive dealt with in YEARS! that guy was very very knowledgeable and very charismatic to my situation

not bad..89 bucks for a $300+ device!
