Yeah b you gotta be careful. Imma try goin to the store on Fordham tomorrow maybe I can get them to swap mine. The keyboard is dead on it and I've swapped it at that store so much they practically know me.

That what sup Rico. I went @ Crosby Ave. This dude was trying to hustle a hustler...So I went to 3rd Ave & 42nd St. They going to change it for me on Monday. Touch Pro 2 is hitting stores in NYC tomorrow but they close. @ Fordham are they open on Sundays? If so lmk I be there like swim wear!

Think im going to look into this next week. I am on my 3rd or 4th TP and now my phone is starting to freeze up randomly and having keyboard issues again. First TP i had it kept freezing 2nd one i got the keyboard went out and 3rd one keyboard went out and something else was wrong but i cant remember exactly (this was a couple months ago) Anyway i will keep you guys posted...

I went to two stores today, no joy. The second one ordered me a replacement TP, I am going to go back early tomorrow and see if I can bring the memo...

i think the moral of the story here is that you have to go to a repair center. seems that's where everyone is having luck and that's the only place of 4 stores that would do it for me.

I'll take the risk by posting this comment but...

I hope that everyone trying to scam get screwed over in the end... (i.e. being given a faulty tp2 and finding out your contract has been renewed because of the upgraded phone)
I hope everyone with problematic Touch Pros' get a replacement. I am personally on my ORIGINAL Touch Pro and I purchased my the 1st day they were available from Best Buy. I have a co-worker who also has his ORIGINAL TP and he got his the same day I did from a different Best Buy. (knock on wood). I want the TP2 as bad as everyone else. However, I will only pursue one as a replacement when/if my phone ever TRULY goes out. I'm surprised by the number of keyboard issues because I've never had a single one (although I wouldn't mind if it meant getting a free TP2). Good luck on getting a TP2!!!

I just came back from Repair Center. After describing some issues I had with phone (no fraud here - back usb connection, screen going black everyone in while, keyboard, etc). I was told to comeback in 1hr. 30 minutes later I was approached by guy, who actually fixes phones behind glass, and told that some issues he would be able to fix there, some he would have to put on machine for more detailed scanning, and some just beyond repair, so he can order me a replacement. I asked him if it would be refurbish or new and if he can get me different model. Kindly he asked if he can ask someone who is more familiar with that and comeback with another salesman/manager. after small talk Manager told me that he can get me a replacement, but I would have to pay deductible, but he can run the deal where I would buy Bluetooth and he gets me replacement at no charge. I have asked if I can change for different phone and showed them print out of Howard Forums page. They were shocked to see it, immediately went to the back and then came back and told me that that page is actually part of internal display only and was not suppose to be revealed to the world. I have asked to TP2 and was told that I can select anything with #4 besides it.
Then they told me that my new TP2 is on way. They would call me in 3-5 days, once it arrives for swap.

PS. Anyone wants to buy 3 regular batteries with 4 covers, and 1 3000Mah extended battery?

I took mine to the repair center cause my screen would freeze and not show anything out of sleep mode and would go into landscaping mode ocassionally.

well the tech hosed it now it wont go out of lanscape mode.

said they are getting me a replacement. the tech on the phone said the tp was the model being replaced but to call the store and find out.

so I have to call tomorrow
