6/8/09 FIRMWARE UPDATE: Verizon GPS Unlocked

Thanks lllboredlll and everybody in this forum.
I am having problems unlocking GPS on my XV6900 with Verizon. I followed the instruction and it is not working for me. I think this is because I can not really execute PPST.exe. No matter how many times I click on it, it does not do anything. The PRI is 2.01_002 which I think is correct. Does anyone have an idea why PPST would not run on my phone?

Ive had that on some roms. I think it has more to do with the gimped memory.
I would reflash to a smaller rom...and see if it still happens then flash back to the new one.....

I get the same thing on my Vogue with nfsfans wm6.5 v1.0 rom.

The smeared icons is a TSK issue not memory...
Change the theme for home to something else then reset the device...
This was an issue with Caulkin's Kitchen if you switch to the blue theme (check use this background) it will solve your issue.

Ahhh! This is about to drive me frickin' CRAZY! My start menu has started to smear and I have done everything in the world I know to resolve it to no avail. I am so sick of having to reflash again and again only for it to happen all over again! It smears having just reflashed the phone without even installing a thing! Initially I had assumed that changing the theme was responsible but the rom I run comes with Dusk pre-installed so I don't even mess with the Home settings before it corrupts. I have tried all the advice about changing the theme, selecting "Use this picture as the background" etc etc but nothing works. I am determined to find a solution to this problem as many are now suffering from it I see. Anyone with any ideas, do chime in here.

You really need to change the tsk as the first thing you do after flashing the rom, then reset the phone!

1 - Flash
2 - Let customizations run (let it reboot)
3 - change tsk
4 - reset the phone
