I *THINK* he called HTC about it, but they said they won't do anything about it and it is a "Pressure issue", he offered to give me a call once any other TouchPro's with good Screens come in and he would replace the screen for me for free if I didn't want to pay the $100 deductible for insurance.

Overall well treated and I was surprised the manager stepped in, still a bit disappointed that they won't do anthing about it

Re: UPDATE:Rainbow looking circle

I suggest trying a different store. Some others have reported to have theirs replace at no cost.

Re: UPDATE:Rainbow looking circle

Just a question...I've said it several times in this thread, and it always gets ignored...have any of you tried taking off the screen protector? When I took mine off, the rainbow smudge thingy went away. After I put it back on, it came back. Everyone keeps saying that it's a defect with the screen, but with mine, it wasn't the screen, it was the protector.

I would say it just depends on the sprint store.

Some are more willing than others, I think had they had a TP screen in stock, they would have replaced it based on what the Manager told me.

Heck he even told me that when he gets some in he will give me a call so i can come up and get it repaired- free of charge, but I am not holding my breath.

Re: UPDATE:Rainbow looking circle

i had to push a little to get the screen replaced because of this. i was told it was normal but i dont back down easy. i dont get upset or nasty but i stay at it. and know how to get my way.

im just happy i didnt have to pay, cause i have been spending too much money lately and spending money on my phone is the last of my worries right now....

2 weeks without a car since i was dumb enough to add a air ride suspension.... $5k and counting on the suspension alone..... it hurts

Re: UPDATE:Rainbow looking circle

So my phone decided to do this today.

What's the consensus? Do I need TEP? I just canceled TEP last month due to the increase..
