THANKS for that update. How much does insurance cost? And are there any improvements with the news phones today?

Re: UPDATE:Rainbow looking circle

this happened to
two of my touch pros and now my diamond

tech support told me why it happens
HTC told them it happens when you put too much pressure on the screen with your face
the oils and heat make the spot.

that is ridiculousi never seen this issue with any other phone ever

I don't buy that explanation they gave you.

I don't even think it's oil. And I still don't understand why it can only be seen under fluorescent lighting.

Re: UPDATE:Rainbow looking circle

i took mine into sprint store yesterday and they said it's from the sun.

I kinda laughed and said no it isn't. They're giving me a replacement phone since it's under 1 year warranty. I hope i don't have to pay anything..

It's the digitizer. It unbonds from the screen. Extreme pressure, temperature, or just sheer misfortune/****ty screen manufacturing can make the problem worse. 99% likely that none of you cause this problem. It's common across many HTC devices.
