having the same problem with my touch diamond. first saw this flaw on a replacement phone they tried to give me in the store for another problem i was having with my diamond. now my phone started having the problem this past weekend. and i treat my phone with kit gloves. glad to see that i am not the only one with the problem. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=66509

this happened to
two of my touch pros and now my diamond tech support told me why it happens HTC told them it happens when you put too much pressure on the screen with your face the oils and heat make the spot. that is ridiculousi never seen this issue with any other phone ever |

just noticed this on my pro.. im going to take it to get the screen replaced. 2nd screen for this pro...
the 1st problem was something else tho

i took mine into sprint store yesterday and they said it's from the sun.
I kinda laughed and said no it isn't. They're giving me a replacement phone since it's under 1 year warranty. I hope i don't have to pay anything.. |

It's the digitizer. It unbonds from the screen. Extreme pressure, temperature, or just sheer misfortune/****ty screen manufacturing can make the problem worse. 99% likely that none of you cause this problem. It's common across many HTC devices.

well i had my screen changed today for a 2nd time.... so lets see what happens
