Ooh, now I gotcha. LOL. That sucks.

So are you going to return this one too?

And you never answered my other question, do you have a flip clock installed?

My wifi is always off and I still get the lockup.

Stock Sprint ROM, nothing added, so no flip clock.

I haven't done ANY registry edits for performance or anything. I have only done really basic stuff like DiamondTweak for scrollbar size, and camera album close-on-x and similar.

This is irritating. If it does it again, I will just return it and wait for the next best thing, from any carrier. I already emailed Sprint and told them that if I can't get a replacement by 12/13 that I will have to return it for good. They said they were completely out of stock.

Re: TP Locking Up Overnight

That is interesting to know that yours locks up without wifi. It makes me worry about heat as mine gets much hotter charging and also with the wifi. Maybe some phones get too hot while charging. Do you know if there is a program that could take the phones temp every 20 minutes and log it to a file? Then we could see what the heat pattern is over night while on the charger.

The other thread should be merged with this one. Same exact problem described.

Palladium's batlog program does just that. It cannot read the PHONE's temperature, but the battery instead. I found that my battery heated up continually all night, even though it wasn't charging -- just sitting on the charger.

Re: TP locks up during sleep / charge

I'm the OP and I still haven't had one lock up since I started this thread (after the hard reset). Advanced Configuration caused a lot of problems on my device (freezing when trying to answer a call, etc). I did a hard reset over the weekend again because of these problems and I still havent had a lock up.

I'd say do a clean hard reset, sync with outlook, and re-load all your software. Restoring from a backup might just reinsert the issue in to the phone.

Re: TP locks up during sleep / charge

I read in another post that if you uncheck "Today timeout" in Settings/Personal/Today/Items, the lockups would stop. I did and haven't had one since.

Re: TP Locking Up Overnight

Probably jinxing myself here by posting in this thread without the problem, but I have to chime in to help.

If anyone of you remembers the DSOD (Dark Screen of Death) from the 6700, this is probably related to it. Hearing that it still is 'running' in the background but will not wakeup.

Those of you with the lockup problem, pull out your storage card (have nothing inserted) and see if it still happens.
