Re: Got IT!!!!! HTC Touch Pro for spint from Best buy
I went to two BBs today, neither of which was able to upgrade my 2-year-old $30 SERO plan. They called the sprint but still they were not able do anything with my plan. I talked with Sprint retentions and the CS only agreed to give me a fair price ($399-$100MIR=$299) but they couldn't match BB's $239 price. Any suggestions?

Re: Got IT!!!!! HTC Touch Pro for spint from Best buy
most of these usb cords are of equal build. having said that i have used this phone and the diamond with a 6700 usb charger. i just tried it with a longer usb cable and it was fine.
but im unclear as to what the issue is with the one usb cable? what if the AC cplug had its own usb cable attached? what difference would it make? you cant hook the phone up to the AC chaarger AND the computer at trhe same time so it makes sense,to me, that there is only one cable. also im sre it kept costs down as well... Re: Got IT!!!!! HTC Touch Pro for spint from Best buy
Picked mine up today!
I went to the Springfield, OH Best Buy. I called as soon as they opened this morning, said they had 6. Got there about 1130, asked the one guy working the mobile section, and he said they didn't have any, but I asked him to check and he found some. He only found 2 even though the system showed 6, and while I was there someone called about them so if you want to get it there you better hurry. None of the other local BBs showed them in stock. I have the Sero F&F 500 w/ unlimited text for $30, so I definitely made sure they didn't change my plan at all. I was out of contract as of July 2008, so I qualified for the full instant savings. My previous phone was the Treo 700wx. The clerk activated the phone via their system and without any issue (I called retentions last night just to ask about any possible issues but the CSR said I wouldn't have to worry about anything). After we put the battery in the phone and started it up, it ran some first-time customization program, restarted, then automatically configured itself! The clerk didn't even have to do anything with the phone, it immediately started receiving my text messages and phone calls! As far as the 20% discount goes, the discount didn't automatically apply, but the clerk was able to give it to me manually. I walked out of there with the Touch Pro for $256. Re: Got IT!!!!! HTC Touch Pro for spint from Best buy
Ok. Here's how my saga is going:
Just got off the phone with Sprint Premier Care. Was told that he will call me next Sunday and sell me three TP's and issue and additional 20% off on all three because Best Buy couldn't sell them to us. I guess that's a good consolation. matt

Re: Got IT!!!!! HTC Touch Pro for spint from Best buy
I have a question that I'm hoping i can get help with. I found Sprint's upgrade site: https://manage.sprintpcs.com/special...radeEligiblity and it says that I am eligible for the full $150 even though I signed up on Nov. 4, 2007. If I print that page and bring it down to BB, would they accept it? I know there has been someone who pulled it off because BB's system can't really access SERO accounts (which I'm on). Thanks

My issue is, I don't want to have to bring the USB cable with me to work, just to sync up at work. I'd have to do that every day and would be a PITA. I'd rather have the desktop charger at work and plug at home, just like I did with the mogul. Thing is, if a generic USB to mini usb will work the same, then I don't really have any issues to worry about. |
