thats what im saying. any usb cable will work so i dont see your issue. no disrespect is meant, but im sure you have one or two miniusb cables sitting around already.. they work just fine...

i've read that you need a data plan of 25 dollars or higher. does anyone know if its possible to just cancel the data plan after you get the phone?

I thought it said that you needed a $25 data plan to be eligible for the MIR. I don't see why you couldn't cancel within a couple months.

FYI, the pinout for the connector is:

Where the upper 5 pins are the mini-usb standard:
A = GND
B = NC
C = +DATA
D = -DATA
E = +5v

And lower 6 pins are the Audio:
1 = +Mic
2 = +Right
3 = Switch
4 = Gnd
5 = Gnd
6 = +Left

why are there no unboxing videos of the sprint htc touch pro on utube ... you best buy people or suppose to help out the others who have to wait for sprint channels ... comee onnnnnnnnnnnnn.....

whats to see? the box is no way like the GSM models you see on youtube. just a typical little box. if you want to see it that bad ill put my stuff back in the plastic and shoot one for you..

The Best Buy I got mine sold me my phone at the $299.99 price, and then afte that, credited me the 20%, like a price match or something. As long as I got the phone for $239, I didnt care. But if your having problems buying with the 20% off, tell them this is how another store did it.

a video would be nice just to show the stuff included with sprint purchase... the sprint case that comes with it .. the charger ... from what i read so far .. its like two parts .. it shares the usb cable that plugs into computer ....? and has a light in front of it ... ....

u dont really have to put it all back in plastic but showing off the sprint accessoreis and noteing that it doesnt come with the video out cables would be niceeeee....
