CAB's? Yea, you're definitely not talking about Android. Check the thread you're posting in :P It's for Android, NOT WinMo. I don't get it, all your other posts seem to relate to Android. I'm confused. Unless you're thinking that something you're doing in WinMo has any bearing on Android - I can pretty much tell you, it doesn't. I'm trying to think of something that would... But I can't. They're completely separate, when Android starts WinMo is killed. WinMo is not running in the background or something weird like that when Android is running. That's why you have to reboot the phone to get back to WinMo. Last edited by arrrghhh; 04-23-2010 at 02:29 PM. |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
ya i think he is referring to changes made to energyrom that he is claiming made android run better.
as stated, once you launch haret, winmo is killed. nothing from winmo is carried over into android. hence, anything you do in winmo will have no effect on android. if you are noticing battery improvements over previous versions, then you have something in android that we do not (new files or systems) or you have made changes to andoird to reflect better battery (turning off data, no exchange or gmail support, etc.). that or you were previously using an older version of our android in which the battery was worse than current versions making the newest version seem like a huge breakthrough on power management.

I'm leaning towards placebo effect... It just "seems" better, because that's how your mind wants to perceive it. Sorry!

Okay...first off, this is the Touch Pro (Raphael) CDMA Android thread NOT the Touch Pro 2 (Rhodium) CDMA Android thread. So you're totally in the wrong place. Second, who are you replying to? |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
lol, x2. this is cdma touch pro, not tp2. and for the tp1 we have everything in the first post of this thread.
second, i don't know about anyone else but my sdcard is full of crap for both winmo and android. never had a problem with stuff being on the sdcard (though it was kind of confusing prior to the andboot folder.). |

i'm not positive on how this affects us. i know if windows is set to handle the screen automatically, it screws up the android screen management. i always figured this was something to do with the drivers for it or a setting left over from when winmo gets killed and android boots, and doesn't allow android to get the management for the screen to work. hopefully makk can bring some more insight into this one for us. |
