Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!

My Sprint Touch Pro gets the 'waiting for SD card' thing as well. All previous builds have worked, I even formatted the card despite really not wanting to. Something weird here.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!

Format with HP Disk tool. Fixed the waiting for sd card error on my diamond. you can also probably set the correct partition from the cmdline, but I forget at the moment what the command to do that is.

Edit: Of course, it fixed that problem with a previous build, not with the latest one. So... that might not actually be the problem you're facing. Didn't mean to be so flippant about it.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!

Hi everyone, I am a noob here, just installed the new AIO and ran into the "waiting on SD card" problem everyone seems to be talking about, I have the Sprint Touch Pro also. I overcame that problem by reformating the card with a link in the orignal thread. Now it makes it past the boot screen and when it gets to the animation screen it just keeps repeating the animation over and over again.... I let it do this for about 5 minutes.... and it just seemed to get faster, is this a problem or is this normal and I just need to wait it out? Thanks for the help and Thanks for all the hard work in putting this together!

Yeah, wait it out. On first boot it seems to take a LONG time.

How long is your average "wait it out"? I'm going on 20 minutes now...

I waited an hour, and then just reset - works fine.

Try this everyone! Perhaps that is the key. The issue may be centered around the data.img creation.

It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes tho.

Thanks to arrrghhh, installation was simple. I opted for a fresh install as he suggested...

Prior to install I created one folder to hold windows files then unpacked andboot to sd, copied startup.txt and voila! I do have to agree that installation took longer than normal, but about 10 minutes like the previous post said.
