Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!
I'm having the same issue as the 'goku' dude, and I tried that.
Went into the APN settings, set name as CDMA Generic and APN as internet, entered wap.mycricket.com on port 8080 as the proxy with my username as mdn@mycricket.com and ******* as the password - no luck. Entered username information into /etc/ppp/pap-secrets as well as /etc/ppp/options.smd1, still nothing. |

How do you disable the accelerometer?
And how do you exit Android? Just soft reset button?

Well, you can disable the automatic rotation of the screen... Settings -> Sound & Display -> Scroll to uncheck 'Orientation'
That's one way. Or pull the battery. Or... I would assume the "preferred" method would be to hold the End key until the menu comes up and chose "Power off" - however, it won't shut down, it'll reboot to WinMo. The feature is (obviously) broken, so the devs just make it reboot instead. Now that method does take a little longer - and there shouldn't be any issues just soft resetting... but I assume the menu method would let Android restart properly. Let linux sync up, etc. Again, I don't think anyone has had an issue soft resetting the device to get back to WinMo. |

I don't know... Did you do anything to the startup? Try formatting the SD and copying a fresh build - don't copy anything from any previous builds. Also, make sure you're downloading the build from this page - otherwise the startup.txt file may be wrong. Are you running a RAPH500? I don't know if those use the same startup as the 800's or not...

Good to know. I would hope Mr. "HotSauce" is using the AIO from the first post...
